Expert Window Repair in Burke, VA

Anchor Remodeling handles window repair for homes throughout Lake Ridge, VA. We fix broken glass, failed seals, foggy panes, damaged frames, and windows that stick or won't lock. Most homes in Lake Ridge were built between 1970 and 1999. That means many windows are now 25 to 50 years old and showing real wear. Northern Virginia's hot, humid summers and cold winters put extra stress on frames and seals each year. Moisture from the nearby Occoquan Reservoir area adds to that pressure, speeding up frame rot and seal failure. We inspect each window before we start work. That way, you get a repair that fits the actual problem, not a one-size-fits-all fix. Whether you have a single-family home, a split-level, or a townhouse, our team works on all common window types found in Lake Ridge. Call Anchor Remodeling to schedule your window repair assessment today.

Window Repair FAQ

Common questions about window repair in Burke, VA.

A repair is the right call when the frame is structurally sound and the window still operates. Anchor Remodeling inspects Lake Ridge homes and gives you a clear answer before any work begins.

Yes, foggy panes are caused by a failed seal between the glass layers, and we can fix that. We replace the affected glass unit so your window is clear again without replacing the entire frame.

Yes, we work on townhouses, single-family homes, and split-levels throughout Lake Ridge. Attached homes make up a large share of the housing stock here, and our team is experienced with those window types.

Moisture is the main cause, and Lake Ridge's humid summers and proximity to the Occoquan Reservoir area accelerate that process. Catching soft or damaged frame material early keeps the repair smaller and more straightforward.

Yes, we repair windows that stick, drag, or fail to latch securely. This is a common issue in older Lake Ridge homes where hardware and balance systems have worn down over time.

Many Lake Ridge communities have HOA guidelines that cover exterior changes, so it is worth checking with your HOA before scheduling work. Anchor Remodeling can work within approved specifications for your home.

Had the pleasure of working with Kris Wisda and his crew at anchor remodeling for the roof on this epic project right on the Potomac we’ve been working on. He is highly knowledgeable, gave the client confidence, and did an incredible job. You will have a hard time finding someone who genuinely cares about the workmanship of the job more than Kris. He is an incredible resource and we are so happy he was able to help us with this project!! I will not recommend another roofer to anyone.

Kris and the Anchor Remodeling team did an excellent job on my complete roof replacement last August. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, completed the work professionally, and offered very competitive pricing. I was very pleased with the overall experience and the quality of the work. I highly recommend Kris and the Anchor Remodeling team!

We hired Anchor Remodeling LLC to replace our roof, aluminum cap the trim and replace rotten wood, install new soffits in the back of our house and increase soffit ventilation in the front of our house. The old roof was leaking and was way beyond its useful life and had been installed incorrectly years ago: it was roofed over a previous roof and had no drip edges. Other than cracking some dry wall when installing the new skylight, from start to finish, Kris Wisda (owner) and his team did great work installing the new roof (Certainteed Landmark Pro), and their trim and soffit work was excellent too. Kris is honest, caring, thorough, and easy to contact, unlike many contractors. He is a consummate professional! From our very first interaction to even after the work was done and time to pay, he was open and honest about the work that had been done and still needed to be done. Two examples: One, he paid particular attention to the soffit ventilation and coached us on trade offs that we needed to make to ensure that our new roof would be sufficiently ventilated. Second, even after we gave him the last check for full payment of completed services, he told us that that he was sending a few members of his team back to finish one more item that we didn’t realize needed to be done. I thank Kris and the Anchor Remodeling team for their hard work that provided us a new, functional roof and greatly improved the exterior look of our home. We have a beautiful looking new roof (with proper ventilation! Lol) and an excellent warranty. Thanks again, Kris!
